"What can we say about Katie, no matter what I write it won't even come close to the sentiments we want to express and what she added to our perfect day. Katie was one of the people we had regular contact with leading up to our big day, she was on hand to answer questions and just to have a chat. I really felt as though I had known her for years. We met with Katie and her lovely family and knew instantly that we wanted her to capture our day, she had so much passion for our vision and our venue (as her beautiful wedding took place there) I was so overwhelmed at her passion for our wedding and the beauty of each and every photo she took. Katie really set the pace for the day and supported me more than a photographer, my husband even caught her filling up the dwindling sweetie jars and that made me smile. When Katie left (which I'm sure was well past her time) you could see she wanted to carry on capturing our perfect day, she was so accommodating it was almost as though I had another bridesmaid there. Having had photos done in the past by Katie, as soon as we booked our venue we got in touch with Katie, not wanting her to be booked already. "I am so happy we picked Katie to be our wedding photographer - we literally couldn't have asked for a better one! We are both not massive fans of having our photo taken but felt so much more relaxed about the idea after our first meeting with Katie. She was so warm and friendly and made us feel relaxed and completely confident in her abilities. So much so that the crazy bridal control freak in me was happy to let her do exactly what she thought was best on the day, which definitely paid off! I looked through so many local photographers and it was only when I came across Katie that I found exactly what I was looking for. Our wedding photos are incredible. "Having trawled through many photographer websites (and seen the range of prices for photographers!)but not found quite what we wanted...although saying that, we didn't really know what it was that we wanted - I love photography and used to do a lot myself in my spare time, however it wasn't as important to my husband (to-be at the time) until I reminded that the only thing you keep from the day itself (other than each other!) is the memories and photos. I was so excited to have found Katie and her amazing work - we felt we 'connected' with it straight away. I actually saw her photos on a friend's facebook page of another friends wedding and felt they were so natural and fun. Having asked my friends for their review, I felt very confident that Katie would be perfect for us. The price felt right, and she very kindly included an engagement photoshoot too - which was ideal to get to know each other and to feel more comfortable in front of the camera! "Katie photographed our wedding in August 2017 and we could not be happier with the photos! They are stunning! Katie was a joy to work with before, during and after the wedding. We met for an engagement shoot a few weeks before the wedding, which is a great idea, I would fully recommend doing this. Then, on the day Katie managed to capture all the happiness and little details of the day perfectly. For a couple that hate having their photo taken, we couldn't love the finished photos more!
