Norfolk wedding photography || Kimberley Hall wedding photography
Where do I begin with this truly stunning wedding! Mark and I used to work together years ago at an outdoor swimming pool. He was always such a happy character to be around so was thrilled when I received his email enquiry. He was also a really good friend to my hubby back in the day so we of course had him and Kim over for Dinner to make plans for their day!
It is so much fun when you get to travel for a wedding, especially to a venue you have never shot at before. They chose Kimberley Hall in Norfolk for their wedding venue as Kim had a lot of family up that way. We travelled up the night before and then Neil (my hubby) came as my assistant/second shooter for the day! He was fab!
Kimberley Hall is a stunning wedding venue and as soon as I arrived I knew I was in for a treat! The space in which Kim was getting ready was just beautiful so made for some really lovely prep shots! We then headed to Wymondham Abbey, a huge Abbey that was just incredible inside and out! I was certainly grateful for my 70-200mm lens at this point!
On our way back from the Abbey Mark and Kim wanted to stop at a cornfield that they knew of, just up the road from Kimberley Hall. It was lovely for them to just have a bit of time together. We had some fun, drank some bubbly and then headed back. The rest of the day couldn’t have run any smoother. Everyone was in the best mood and just so relaxed, it was a joy to be a part of. My absolute favourite part of the whole day though was their first dance! I had no idea that they had been learning salsa and nor did the guests! The dance was incredible and one of my all time favourite first dance shots!! Good work guys! You were amazing!
