Kelsey and Seans wedding was the first wedding for me for 2018 and what a stunner it was!!! I was back at one of my all time favourite venues Cripps Stone Barn! Cripps Stone Barn is situated in the Cotswolds so surrounded by beautiful rolling hills! We started our day at Kelseys parents house. I was buzzing for my first wedding of the year and I was greeted by so many friendly faces. Everybody was in such a good mood, even if there was a slight confusion as to where Kelsey’s wedding shoes were. It really didn’t seem to faze her, even when it was discovered that they were actually at the venue. Fear not, Mum had a spare!
The one thing I had remembered about this couple was how smily Sean was. He had been a groomsman at a previous wedding I had photographed. From the moment I saw him waiting for Kelsey he was beaming. I don’t think he stopped smiling throughout the entire ceremony.
The weather wasn’t totally on our side for the day but Cripps Stone Barn is the perfect venue for a rainy day as the main ceremony room remains empty, once the ceremony chairs are cleared away. We totally used this to our advantage for the group shots and one of my all time favourite couple shots. Kelsey and Sean stood directly below the flower Chandalier which showed off the barn beautifully!
After that it was a case of dashing out between showers, which we managed amazingly and then it cleared up for the evening! I literally didn’t want to leave. Everybody had made me feel like I was a part of the day, which is really lovely for me, so thank you so much for having me!
