This wedding was one of those weddings that I will always remember. Kate and Jacob opted for a slightly shorter package with me arriving just before the church and finishing just after the speeches. They were keen to have very little staged photography which is always really lovely for me as I totally step back and just watch the day unfold. I literally met them both a few days before the wedding to get a feel for what they were after and the venue etc and then we met the morning of the wedding when Kate pulled up in the car.
After the ceremony they had drinks and canapés in their village hall with the Bampton Morris Dancers coming to perform on the lawn in front of the church. It felt very much like a tea party with the speeches all happening here, before heading back to their cottage, and what I would say – the most incredible marque I have seen to date. They had managed to work the corridors and separate areas of the marque into the garden so that the tree and bushes etc all became part of the décor. I had such a fab afternoon with these guys that I didn’t want to leave when I did! Thank you both.
