DO WE HAVE TO PAY A BOOKING FEE WHEN BOOKING YOU?

Yes, I require a £300 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking via bank transfer along with the signed contract.

WHAT IS A BOOKING FEE?

A Booking fee pays for the date of your wedding. Most photographers charge a booking fee, this ensures both parties are covered in the event of cancellation or the contract being ended.
As a wedding photographer, we book our work 10+ months in advance, and should a client cancel with only a few months to the wedding date, it is unlikely that the date will be filled by a full wedding package. Therefore, the booking fee covers a loss of earnings.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes I have Public Liability insurance, Professional Indemnity and equipment insurance.

HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR A WEDDING?

I love to travel and would love to shoot more destination weddings also!

WILL YOU HAVE SOMEBODY WITH YOU ON THE DAY?

Sometimes I have an assistant or second shooter, depending on which options you go for. There is always the option to have two photographers if you want to.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

If it rains, it rains. We would embrace the weather no matter what. I am happy to go out in it if you are! One of my favourite weddings was in the rain!

HOW QUICKLY WILL THE IMAGES BE READY AFTER THE WEDDING?

It will normally take me around 6-8 weeks to edited all of the images around peak season. I do try to work faster but have to remember to see the hubby and kids at some points too during the summer.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK YOU?

For weddings usually around 9-18 months before. With portrait sessions usually a couple of months.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE SWITCH DATE?

If I am available on your new date then I am happy to switch without a new retainer fee but if I am booked I will have to refer you to another photographer and keep the booking fee due to loss of business.

HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?

All of your photos will be uploaded to an online gallery and will be available for you to share and download from the gallery. You will also recieve a personalised USB through the post for weddings.

CAN WE POST OUR IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

YES! Please do! Feel free to share your images, and tag me where you can! I love to see what you share! All I ask is please do not edit or add any filters to the images as I have already done all of that for you and it will change my style completely if you do change them.

DO WE HAVE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?

I retain copyright but you can do whatever you want with your photos! The only thing I ask is to not pass them on to other businesses i.e. other wedding suppliers.
I love to connect with the other suppliers so we can credit each other so please send them my way and I will share the photos with them.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL TRAVEL COSTS ?

Not within a 50 mile radius of ox18 2aa. I try and ensure that all travel costs are factored in.

I HATE POSING FOR PICTURES, WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST?

I hate posing too! Don’t worry about this. I like to do some couple pictures with you, but I will not make you feel uncomfortable. I will work with you to have you laughing and playing around so that at no point should you feel awkward or uncomfortable. The engagement shoot included within your photography packages are designed for you to get to know me, and feel relaxed for your wedding day.

DO YOU OFFER A WEDDING ALBUM/ PRINTS?

Yes. Please ask me for more info about this. I Currently use Folio albums, who are the leaders in UK Wedding folios, albums and imaging.

CAN FRIENDS AND FAMILY BUY IMAGES?

Absolutely. There is an online shopping basket within your online gallery that you can direct family and friends too. You will just need to send them the password.

DO YOU OFFER BESPOKE PACKAGES?

I do, and I am happy to discuss this with you.

CAN WE HAVE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER AT OUR WEDDING, HOW WILL WE PERSONALLY BENEFIT FROM THIS?

Yes you can! At £350 on top of the packages you can have an extra set of professional hands on your wedding day. They will see things from a different prospective, and will capture something, that maybe I missed whilst getting those group photographs done!

HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED FOR GROUP PICTURES AND OUR PORTRAITS? AND DO WE NEED B&G PORTRAITS?

I would say, for a whole wedding party picture, followed by approx. 6-10 family pictures you’re looking at 30 minutes. Family Group pictures always take longer than you realise!

…and B&G portraits… In my opinion, yes!I always say a minimum of 15 minutes, but for beautiful relaxed images 45 minutes. It really depends on the plan put together by you, with your wedding venue/s and your photographer.
